So, after over a year since my introductory purchase from Farout, I've used the "leftovers" every now and then for special occasions etc and I have yet to have a dud, misfire, or malfunction of any kind. In my opinion, that speaks volumes in regards to the care and attention these folks put into their business, clients, and products offered. Not to mention the price, the variety and general inviting nature these folks have. If you haven't tried them yet, "not likely given their review status", please give them a chance to attain your business. You won't be disappointed, we need to do what we can to ensure they stay in business on Vancouver Island for as long as they wish! Thanks for a bunch of good times Farout. Well organised, good value and brilliant service that you might not expect given the ramskacle appearance of the red shipping container.

This place has the most ridiculous selection of fireworks I’ve ever seen. The lady was super helpful to get us what we needed, as it can be hard to choose here, and she also helped advise how to launch everything safely and all the fireworks worked great.

Our NYE party was taken up a whole new level and my son was absolutely delighted to sequence out the show as the event planner.

Def will return!

I recently discovered this is the only place on Central Vancouver Island to purchase fireworks when I was asked by a friend to procure some for them. Being as they essentially have a monopoly (or certainly a corner on the market in this area) they could overcharge if they wanted to and if you wanted fireworks you would have to 'bite the bullet' & pay. However, the bag of goodies I left with seemed more than fair for the money my friend had given me to spend and the friendly employee, moments from the end of their shift, was still more than happy to help me and even threw in a bonus one. Thanks a bunch & keep up the fantastic work!!! If it was the owner I conversed with, you should give yourself a raise. If it was anyone other than the owner, they're worth more than you're paying them and deserve a raise!

What this shop lacks in curb appeal it GREATLY makes up for in their selection, prices, and expertise. We came in to get some fireworks to celebrate my late sisters birthday. They suggested a custom package based on our needs, and asked a ton of questions that I hadn’t even thought of (colours, sparkles, how much variety, sequenced, etc.). They put together our $500 package in less than 10 minutes, taught us how to arrange it on a piece of plywood with nails and tape so that we could time it ourselves, and provided such a wide variety of fireworks. Their prices are significantly cheaper than the other fireworks shops we’ve been to (my dad bought this one type of firework at the Shell outside Nanoose Bay for like $80 around New Years, and Far Out was selling the same one for $55!). They also told us to call them back if we had any questions about set up. Highly recommend for your firework needs on Vancouver Island!!

I have ordered twice from Farout Fireworks since hearing about it from a friend who orders from there himself. The website is user friendly and there is a huge selection of product. One of the key things for me was being able to watch video of everything before purchase. This proved to be very handy in planning what I was going to do for my show. My order was well packed and had lots of extra free goodies, used as filler to ensure safe delivery. I found the prices to be lower then anywhere else and getting extras made it even more so. I've been doing shows every year for more then 10 years but this past Halloween was the best one yet. Delivery was fast and the transaction was painless.

I just ordered a second time and because it was just before Xmas, I expected delivery would be hopefully before New Years. 2 days after ordering I was working on my car in the driveway when a delivery guy shows up with a big box. At first I couldn't figure our what I had ordered that would need such a large box but when I opened it I was surprised to see it was my fireworks. Talk about fast delivery. Wow.

If you need fireworks, this is the place to shop. You won't be disappointed.

I really appreciated how quick they would reply to my texts and answered all my questions. The really helped me make an amazing show withing my budget and the shipping was really fast. OMG !!! Those crazy kids in Coombs have the best selection and the best prices. They have easy to buy, pre-made bundles/combo's that take out all the guess work for having an awesome fireworks display. Thanx again for being a big community supporter !!!!
